What's Final Fantasy Father Hironobu Sakaguchi Doing in my Kingdom Hearts?

Square Enix appears to be paying homage to the man behind their biggest series.

This is Hironobu Sakaguchi, creator of Final Fantasy:

And this is Master Eraquis, recently revealed in Weekly Shounen Jump as teacher unto main characters Ventus, Tera and Aqua in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep:

There's no mistaking that goochstache! But before declaring this a cameo, I'll wait and see if Eraquis looks like this after a surf.

That's incredible. The likeness is undeniable - wonder if there will be any comments in the major game press outlets about this, or even from the man himself.
