BlazBlue to hit arcades tomorrow
High res 2D fighting from the makers of Guilty Gear.
--Nov 19, 2008, 23:22, Tokyo--The wait for more high res is at long last over. Arc System Works sent out notice today that BlazBlue will be hitting arcades tomorrow.
BlazBlue is the latest fighter from the folks that made Guilty Gear. Gameplay is similar to that fighting series, but visually, the game benefits from a move to Taito's TypeX2 arcade board, allowing for high resolution 16x9 visuals.
The latest fighter from the developers of Guilty Gear will be hitting arcades after nearly a full year's wait.
The game was first announced in January of this year and showed up in playable form at two major arcade shows. It has since appeared on location test.
