Capcom holding Lost Planet Colonies tournament on Xbox Live Park

By now Lost Planet players have had a couple of weeks to get acquainted with Lost Planet Colonies, the recent update to the early Xbox 360 action title. Capcom apparently feels the time is right for a tournament, and today announced plans for such an event to be held in one week's time.

The first Lost Planet Colonies official tournament will take place on June 20 via Microsoft's community event service Xbox Live Park. On June 20, Microsoft and Capcom will hold a special Capcom Night event at the service, offering players a chance to try out the game with Capcom developers and Microsoft staffers.

To get in on the event, you'll have to send a friend request to the Live Park 01 and Live Park 02 gamer tags. Only 100 will be able to participate.
