When we last heard of Nintendo Spot, Nintendo had just opened the service on an experimental run at McDonalds and on the Tsukuba Express train line. Today, Pokemon announced a new test for the service, to be conducted at Pokemon Centers nationwide.

From August 1 to September 30, Pokemon Centers will be distributing the Pokemon Center Wi-Fi Message Board. Downloaded to your DS through the system's "Download Play" option, the message board will offer news on the upcoming Pokemon Platinum, including screenshots that change daily, and information on Pokemon Center goods, complete with product rankings and messages from store managers.

All of this is, of course, free, but those wanting to try out the service will need to make sure they have their DS with them when visiting their local Pokemon Center.

Try out the service between August 18 and September 30 in particular, and you'll be able to take part in a special four question quiz. Answer all questions correctly, and you'll find yourself in a raffle that could win you an original sticker.
