Those worried about a Bionic Commando Rearmed failure dashing all hopes for future 2.5D remakes of classic games can apparently breath a bit more regularly. According to Bionic Commando series producer Ben Judd, Rearmed is performing quite well.

In his latest post at the Japanese Bionic Commando Secret Blog, Judd describes Rearmed as "doing quite well" following its release last week. Worldwide, he says the game has sold over 111,000 units. While he's sure this may not seem like a big number compared to package games, he says it's a relative success.

There's no time off for Judd even with the apparent success of Rearmed. He's now busy with the 3D Bionic Commando game, and says he's set to travel to Sweden (home of Bionic Command developer GRIN) for two months.
