Date set for Idol Master SP

Bandai Namco Games announced today a final release date for Idol Master SP. The PSP entry in the popular idol raising simulation will be released on January 22, 2009.

As previously announced, SP is a multi-SKU release. The game will be released in Perfect Sun, Wandering Star, and Missing Moon varieties, each with a different set of idols waiting to be raised. Each version will cost 4,800 yen.

Those wanting a sneak peak at Idol Master SP should head to the Tokyo Game Show next week. In addition to playable kiosks, the Saturday show will feature a mini live program in which the game's voice actors will perform new music from the title.
