Valkyria download content dated

Following up on late September's unveiling of Valkyria Chronicles' second round of download content, Sega shared today a final distribution date. The new update will be available on October 31 at a price of 800 yen.

As originally detailed, the update consists of a mission, "Ute, Selvaria to Tomoni," which roughly translates to "Shoot, Alongside Selvaria." Selvaria Bles is the central figure in this update, which puts players in control of the Imperial Army in a battle against Galia. Meet certain conditions during the three included battles, and you'll end up with a special "Ruhm" weapon that can be used in the game's other modes.

As with the first piece of download content, this new one updates your game to a new version, this time Version 1.2
