Nintendo updated its official website today with its lineup of titles for January 2009. Some big games, previously with vague 2009 or winter 2008 release dates are now pencilled in for the period.

On the Wii, Wii de Asobu Mario Tennis GC will be Nintendo's first game of the year 2009, arriving on January 15. It will be joined by Konami's Castlevania Judgment, which was previously marked with a general winter date.

The 22nd will see Another Code R from Nintendo and Rabbits Party TV Party from Ubisoft. They will be joined by Suzumiya Haruhi no Gekidou, which was recently delayed from its November 27 release date.

Another Code: R now has a final release date, a little over a month after being first announced.

For the DS, two additional games are confirmed for the 15th. DS Fortune Telling Life from Nintendo will join a new Now Productions educational title whose name roughly translates to Understand Even the Meaning: Adult's Word Practice. The 29th will see the release of Annie Atelier from Gust. This latest alchemy RPG was previously set for a general 2009 release.

Now pencilled in with a TBA January date are Simple DS Series Vol.43 Host Shiyouze! and Simple DS Series Vol.46 The Hikyou Tankentai. These have both been delayed from their original Fall dates.
