Microsoft announced today that Trusty Bell Chopin's Dream will be joining the Xbox 360 Platinum Collection budget lineup. The Bandai Namco RPG will get a new low price, and the new packaging to go along with it, on January 8. Pricing is set at 3,800 yen, putting it towards the higher end of Platinum Collection games.
Known as Eternal Sonata overseas, Trusty Bell is set in the dreams of Chopin in the hours before the composer's death. The game features piano work from world renowned Russian pianist Stanislav Stanislavovich Bunin and musical composition from Motoi Sakuraba. A PS3 version was released in September.
Trusty Bell will be joined in January by a few other Platinum Collection titles. As previously announced, Armored Core For Answer and Kingdom Under Fire Circle of Doom will be released on January 8, to be followed on the 15th by Virtua Fighter 5 Live Arena. These will carry a 2,940 yen price.
The Xbox 360 Platinum Collection currently consists of 40 titles (not including the above), including such major names as Lost Odyssey, Ace Combat 6, Idol Master, and Blue Dragon.
