Bandai Namco opened up a teaser website today for Kidou Senshi Gundam Senki, the latest PlayStation 3 Gundam game. The teaser site currently contains a flash animation showing off characters and mecha that will appear in the game.
As usual, Weekly Famitsu has further details on the game in its latest issue. The magazine lists the new title as being based around 2002's PlayStation 2 Gundam Senki, with graphics and gameplay systems powered up. The game will also feature a network mode, providing co-op play for up to four and competitive play for up to eight. Solo players can look forward to a scenario mode with a new story set two yeas after the anime's One Year War passage and featuring new characters. Sunrise will be providing original animated movies that mix 3D and 2D elements.
This will be the fourth Gundam game for the PS3. The system launched with Gundam: Target in Sight, with Gundam Musou and Gundam Musou 2 following in the coming years.
Gundam Senki is currently without a final release date. More details can be found in this week's Famitsu, which also has commentary from the game's development staff.
