Pokemon Remakes Confirmed!

In news that appears to suggest I won't have to sit through this weekend's Pokemon Sunday, Pokemon has confirmed recent hints about remakes of Pokemon Gold and Silver. Pokemon Heart Gold and Pokemon Soul Silver will hit the Japanese DS this Fall.

In case you're not up on your Pokemon, these two were originally released for the Game Boy in 1999, and went on to sell over 23 million units.

Specifics on the DS version have yet to be shared, but Pokemon will apparently be adding all the features that one expects of the series nowadays, along some new elements as well.
