The King of Fighters is going online through Korea's Dragonfly, a company known for its Special Force FPS.

The trailer shows Joe Higashi and the likes teaming up to combat multiple on-screen foes. This appears to be not just a one-on-one fighter, but an rare example of the long-lost 3D beat-em-up genre.

According to 4Gamer, the game is scheduled to see an open beta in Korea in early 2010.
