Grand Theft Auto IV, Soul Calibur IV Go Budget in August

Sony's budget gaming lineup is getting some big names next month. The company shared today its August PlayStation 3 the Best series lineup, and leading the pack are Soul Calibur IV and Grand Theft Auto IV.

Actually, the two games aren't really leading the pack. Rather, they are the pack. This is apparently all PS3 owners can look forward to in low priced gaming for the month.

SCIV will hit from Namco Bandai Games on August 6 at ¥3,800. GTAIV will follow from Capcom on August 27 at ¥3,900 yen.

Soul Calibur IV was already announced by Microsoft for the Xbox 360 Platinum Collection. It will arrive simultaneous with its PS3 counterpart. While not yet announced by Capcom, GTAIV will likely arrive simultaneously as well.
