Capcom welcomed the 150,000 recent additions to PlayStation 3 ownership with quite the retro offering today. The latest batch of Game Archive releases includes Mega Man 2, or as it's known here in Japan, Rockman 2: Dr. Wiley no Nazo. Based off the PlayStation version of the Famicom classic, the 235 megabyte release is playable on both PlayStation 3 and PSP and runs the usual ¥600.

Joining Mega Man is Side Pocket 3 from Hamster. This pool game includes a story mode (with scantily clad women presumably causing its CERO B rating) and 11 forms of versus pool for up to four players. Pricing for the 140 megabyte download is also ¥600.

Those who prefer even older Game Archives offerings should check back next week. Hudson has announced that the 16th will see the availability of classic PC Engine baseball game Power League 4.
