There probably won't be any more Phantasy Star games on DS

The bargain bin of shame reaches a new low.

Spotted today in the bargain bin of shame at Bic Camera:

That's a sealed Phantasy Star Zero for under 500 yen. They had a bunch of them too.

They'll even give you 10% points back, which means you can have last year's big Christmas DS release for about the price of last week's Famitsu.

If you're still not sure about the purchase, you can up your cost by about a third to try out the first level on DSi Ware:

Phantasy Star is probably one series that will stay on PSP (where it will hopefully be joined by Shining Force).

I don't think I've ever seen a bargain bin game that cheap.

I might actually pick it up just for kicks.
