Taiko Drum Master: The Box Lunch
Priced like airport food. But what airport food smiles at you while you eat it?

This latest game-related food item could be quite the "hit" with passengers traveling through Tokyo's lesser (for now) Haneda Airport. Namco Bandai is teaming up with Tokyo Airport Restaurant for a Taiko Drum Master "bento" box lunch set to be sold exclusively on airport premises.
The box lunch set is properly named "Taiko no Tatsujin Nigiwai Matsuri Bento," or "Taiko Drum Master Prosperous Festival Box Lunch." Namco Bandai's press release announcing the item (see it at 4gamer) has some background story on the game and how its characters traveled to Haneda Airport, thus making this promotion appropriate. Trying to parse the kanji gets me hungry, so you'll have to read it for yourself.
All you really need to know is that the box lunch was developed cooperatively by Tokyo Airport Restaurant, which manages restaurants in Haneda Airport, and the Taiko Drum Master development staff, who are probably busy making a sequel to last year's extremely successful Wii installment. It will be avaiable from October 10 through November 8 at select areas of the airport.
Pricing is set at ¥900, which may seem high, but do recall that this is an airport. At least the rice is pink and smiling at you.
