First Look: Lance of Longinus in Phantasy Star Portable 2
Sega shows off some new collaborations for its upcoming online RPG sequel.

Sega's collaborative plans for Phantasy Star Portable 2 aren't limited to pizza and fruity carbonated beverages. Today, the company provided a first look at a collaboration that probably won't make series fans cringe as much as the previous Pizza Hut and Fanta tie-ups.
Weapons and costumes from Rebuild of Evangelion, Fate/stay night and Vocaloid Hatsune Miku will appear in Phantasy Star Portable 2. As detailed by Sega today, the exact list of items is as follows:
Evangelion
- Clothing: Plug Suits for Shinji, Rei and Asuka.
- Weapons: Lance of Longinus
- Download: Additional Plug Suits will be available as download items following release, eventually giving the game the entire collection of Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance plug suits.
Fate/stay night
- Clothing/Parts: Knight King Armor, Sekihara Riesou
- Weapons: Excalibur, Gan Jiang/Mo Ye
Vocaloid 0 Hatsune Miku
- Clothing/Parts: Hatsune Miku Dress
- Weapon: Miku Onion Saber, Miku Twin Onion Saber, Miku Onion Rifle, Miku Onion Wand
- Download: VN02 costume will be made available for download after release.
Phantasy Star Portable 2 arrives on December 3. A demo will be available on November 1.

OK, now this is getting retarded. This game looks like it'll have more partner content then original (read: interesting) stuff. They've ruined Phantasy Star once by taking it online, are they trying to ruin even that by making it a giant product placement ad?
