Light Up with Classic Sega Consoles
New Zippo lighters will make smoking fun for Sega fanatics.

Classic Sega hardware lives on in Zippo form! Banpresto has started taking orders for lighters designed in the image of Saturn and Genesis consoles.
If you're a once Sega hardware fanatic, try fighting the urge to light up when given one of these:
The Genesis, with its elongated design, looks like it was made with future lighter conversion in mind. The Saturn's square shape doesn't match as well, but a thumbs up to Banpresto for trying to cover it up with a shout out to the best 2D controller ever made in the history of the world.
You're going to have to pay a bit to smoke so stylishly. Banpresto is charging ¥10,500 for each lighter. That's the price of a later day Genesis, and you won't get Sonic as a pack-in.
If you like what you see, you can order the lighters from Net You through November 6. They'll be shipped out in late December.
The lighters are officially known as the "Sega Memorial Hardware Zippo Lighter No.1 Mega Drive Model" and "Sega Memorial Hardware Zippo Lighter No. 2 Sega Saturn Model." This seems to suggest that more variations are on the way.

I love Sega as much as the next guy, but not at that price.

These are definitely better than the other Zippo swag I got when I was working at IGN... although I do like my Seaman Zippo.
