Chunsoft seems intent on bringing all its Wii titles over to Sony platforms. As revealed today in an E Digi retail listing, the next Chunsoft title to make the cross platform trip is Mystery Dungeon Shiren the Wanderer 3.
Fully titled, in Japanese, Fushigi Dungeon Furai no Shiren 3 Portable, the PSP title is a port of Mysterious Dungeon Fuurai no Shiren 3 Sleeping Princess of Karakuri Mansion, which hit Wii in June of last year under the Sega publishing label. The PSP version adds original dungeons. Game balance fixes ensure beginners and pros alike will be able to enjoy the adventure.
On the tech side of things, Chunsoft is making use of data install to reduce load times. The game will also support Infrastructure Mode across all its modes. That means real online play!
PSP owners can look for Shiren the Wanderer 3 on January 28 at ¥5,040. While a publisher was not listed by the retailer, I'd presume it's Spike, which is also serving as publisher on DS's Shiren the Wanderer 4.
There may be more good news on the way for Shiren fans. The retail listing mentions that a new entry in the Shiren series will be released following PSP's Shiren 3. It's unclear if this is in reference to Shiren 4, or if it's another PSP Shiren game.
