Nintendo's New Super Mario Bros. Official Site is So Cute
Lots and lots of movies of Mario's latest outing.

Following up on yesterday's opening of the Zelda Spirit Tracks official site, Nintendo opened an official site today for New Super Mario Bros. Wii. And boy is it cute! Access the page for yourself.
Unlike the Zelda site, this particular official site has actual content.
Click on the far-left link for a movie showing the extremely must-see opening introduction. Just in case you were wondering how Mario and friends got into their latest mess....
The second link from the left features videos of Mario's various actions. On offer at present are Propeller Mario and a section on basic actions, including spin jump, block toss, and raising a lift.
The third link offers a look at the game's map system. Click the links for movies of Toad's house, where you can play games to earn items, and a new type of "Enemy Course," which you enter by running into an enemy on the overworld map.
And there's still more to come, with a couple of locked sections and a bunch of additional Mario actions to be revealed. Expect frequent updates, as New Super Mario Bros. Wii is due out here in less than a month.

People may dislike the box art and the Japanese web site because of the heavy use of red, but it does fit with the Mario theme. Unlike the North American web site, the Japanese web site is better designed and informative.

I've found Japanese official game sites to always be a lot nicer than American ones. Although they're always totally heavy on the Flash.
