Square Enix announced today a final release date of January 28 for the DS version of Dragon Quest VI. The classic remake is being priced at ¥5,980.
Dragon Quest VI is the third entry in the "Tenku" trilogy of Dragon Quest games that also includes parts IV and V. Both of these have already seen DS release to great commercial success.
It looks like Square Enix is getting ready to kick off a promotional campaign for DQVI. The game's official site, currently in a teaser state, will be fully opened on the 12th. Fans can look forward to wallpaper downloads.
The teaser site currently contains a trailer from the Tokyo Game Show, where the game saw its playable debut.
