Hold off on that Bluetooth headset purchase, Resident Evil fans. Capcom has a special Resident Evil themed headset on the way for release opposite RE5 Alternative Edition.

The BSAA-spec Sigma APO Bluetooth Hi-Fi Headset sports RE5's BSAA logo both on its head piece and charger. Aside from that, it appears to be a quality headset, with Bluetooth 2.1 support, and a removable, rotatable ear piece.

Pricing for the device is set at ¥7,500. But Capcom has a sweet deal for those who were planning an Alternative Edition purchase anyway. The game and headset will be offered in a set for ¥8,800 yen -- a savings of over ¥3,000 from buying the two items separately.

Look for the headset on February 18, opposite Alternative Edition's release. The device is limited to Capcom's e-Capcom online retailer.

  • I wish they had this coming to the U.S. Thats a nice bundle.

  • I wish they had this for the original RE5. I maybe would have played some co-op with my friends, before we all realised the game was an utter disaster and quit. Still, nice piece of kit, reminds me that I need to get a new BT headset for my phone.
