Ys: Oath in Felghana Set for PSP
Falcom porting over PC remake of Ys III, with PSP-exclusive extras.

As the debut platform for Ys Seven, there's little doubt that PSP is the place to go for the Ys series now. Falcom has made that even clearer with the announcement of Ys: The Oath in Felghana for the system.
Debuting in this week's issue of Dengeki PlayStation, Ys: Oath in Felghana is a port of a 2005 PC entry in the series. The game follows the exploits of series main character Adol Christin and his buddy Dogi as the two head off to Dogi's home town of Felghana.
Those familiar with the old Ys games will recognize this as the background story of Ys III: Wanderers from Ys. Felghana is a remake of that, but with a major change in gameplay to resemble Ark of Napishtim.
Falcom is preparing some major extras for this first consumer port of Felghana. The game's event sequences now have full voice. Players are able to freely switch between three background music choices: the Windows original version, and the PC-8801 and 68000 versions of the Wanderers from Ys soundtracks. The game will also include a museum mode featuring movies, illustrations and more.
Gameplay is also seeing some updates. The control system is said to be based off the PC version, but with changes that improve the play experience. During play, you can also expect better effects for the Double Boost system and other areas.
PSP owners will get another dose of classic Ys on April 22.

You've got the latest Dengeki PS?
I'd like to believe about this OiF port at first, but seeing that other (surprising, in some way)title announced, I became a bit uncertain about the truth... So, that's true, huh ^^'
Well... So they'll give OiF full voice... Just wonder, why don't give it to Seven too ^^'

With the number of ports released on the PSP, I am beginning to agree with its critics that it has become Port Station Portable.

Oh yeah, I see some comment about Falcom mentioning giving some other title to consoles other than PSP after releasing this and that VS one. Is it true too? Seems like they want to spread their CS game business.
@yowvapa: While this is a port, I'm feeling a bit complex that I welcome this one more than the other original title from Falcom which announced in the same time ^^'
With this, it marked 5 series of Ys go to PSP now... Will the other 3 will? ^^'
