There was some fanboy bickering a couple of weeks back following the announcement of No More Heroes: Heroes' Paradise about how closely the PS3 and Xbox 360 port resembled the Wii version. Of course, the PS3 and 360 versions are playable in full HD, which does make them stand out.

Only if the screenshots are provided in HD, that is.

The screenshots included in Marvelous's update on the game today were definitely not HD. You can see them here. Feel free to click on them if you want to give me extra page views, but you won't actually get a larger version of the shots.

Marvelous provided the screens to promote the latest update to the Heroes' Paradise official site.

The site now has sections for story and character, with the character section counting down through all the assassins. Currently, you'll find just Death Metal.

The "pick-up" section of the site has a teaser look at the game's Very Sweet Mode. As revealed following the announcement, Hereos' Paradise has the three difficulty settings of its predecessor: Sweet (easy), Mild (normal) and Bitter (hard). It also adds Very Sweet Mode, which, rather than changing up the difficulty, appears to just swap the female characters' outfits with bathing suits. This mode will have to be unlocked.

You'll still have to pick up Famitsu to get an actual look at the sexy outfits.

Hereos' Paradise hits PS3 and Xbox 360 on February 25. Hopefully before then Marvelous will share lots and lots of HD screens.
