It seems that SNK Playmore is excited about Xbox Live Arcade. So excited, in fact, that they've decided to announce today a bunch of games that they already announced a while back.
The company sent out reminder today that KOF Sky Stage, Neo Geo Battle Coliseum, and King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match are on the way for Microsoft's download service.
Metal Slug XX is also set for XLA. This was recently announced just for PSP. Previously, the game was listed in release schedules as Metal Slug 7.
Here are the specifics, based off SNK Playmore press materials, including release time frames:
- Neo Geo Battle Coliseum
- A tag battle fighter featuring Neo Geo characters and original heroes and heroines. Originally released to arcades in Summer 2005, the game is coming to XLA with HD remastering for character and background visuals. Release set for Spring.
- KOF Sky Stage
- Popular characters from the King of Fighters series take to the skies in this vertical shooter that's still unreleased in arcades. The game combines elements of fighting and shooting. Release set for Spring.
- Metal Slug XX
- The latest entry in the Metal Slug series features four Metal Slug classic characters, two characters from the KOF series, and seven multi-pathed stages. Release set for Spring. The game hits PSP later this month.
- The King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match
- A tuned version of KOF2002, and the second entry in the Unlimited Match line. Includes the highest number of fighters in KOF history, tuned game balance, new skills, and renewed graphics and BGM. Release set for Summer.
