Nippon Ichi hasn't said much about Classic Dungeon since unveiling that sweet little official site a couple of weeks back. Today, it provided a slight update.
First up, tie-up information. Classic Dungeon may be totally retro themed, but that's not stopping Nippon Ichi from giving it an end theme song. The theme song is "Kizuna wa Koko Ni," or "Bonds are Here," as sung by A.m.u and produced by ZIZZ Studio.
On the note of music, Nippon Ichi previously announced a soundtrack pre-order bonus for the game. As detailed today, the soundtrack is titled "Classic Dungeon Soundtrack CD 8bit Edition," and it includes selections of the game's music in 8bit and "real" form. The game allows players to select between the two track types.
ZIZZ Studio is handling Classic Dungeon's sound as a whole.
Finally, a glimpse at the game's package art:
Nippon Ichi is definitely not shy about Classic Dungeon's old school look.
Classic Dungeon hits on February 18. It will be available at retail for ¥5,229 and in download form for ¥4,000.
