Capcom's upcoming Biohazard/Resident Evil book covers Resident Evil 0, the original Resident Evil, Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3 Last Escape and Resident Evil Code: Veronica.

Why no Resident Evil 4 or Resident Evil 5?

Well, the upcoming Biohazard Archives is actually an updated version of a book that originally came out on March 31, 2005, just a bit after RE4's release. The book is meant to be about the Umbrella arc of the RE series storyline.

Included in the book's 352 pages are introductions to the above five titles' stories, characters and creatures, along with artwork, a glossary of terms and more.

The content of the original book has seen corrections and changes in a few areas. Additionally, Capcom has shrunk the book's size by a notch to A5.

Look for the book in shops on February 18. Pricing is set at ¥1,890.

  • Wow, A5? That's not just a notch, that's about half the size. Still, nice that they are updating it. Shame it's still missing the newer stuff.

  • I'm not familiar with my size standards, but the official specs say it's 297mm x 210mm. That seems pretty like a pretty good size.
