Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition is set for February 18 release. Here in Japan, it's PlayStation 3 exclusive. However, as with the rest of the world, owners of the original RE5 on either the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 will be able to obtain the Gold content via paid downloads.
Today, Capcom shared release dates for the download content. It seems that players, in particular PS3 owners, are going to have to wait a bit from Gold's release.
Below is the DLC schedule. Note that Capcom considers DLC 1 the currently available Versus mode.
- DLC 2: Lost in Nightmares
- Includes the Lost in Nightmares scenario, two characters for Mercenaries Reunion episode (Excella and unspecified) and extra figures. Pricing is set at respectively 400 MS Points and ¥500.
- DLC 3: Costume Pack
- Includes Chris's Exoskeleton and Sheva's Office Lady costumes, two characters for Mercenaries Reunion (Exoskeleton and Office Lady), and extra figures. Pricing is respectively 160 MS Points and ¥200.
- DLC 4: Desperate Escape
- Includes the Desperate Escape scenario, two characters for Mercenaries Reunion (Josh and unspecified), and extra figures. Pricing is 400 MS Points and ¥500.
- DLC 5: Costume Pack 2
- Includes Chris's Warrior and Sheva's Folklore costumes, two charactes for Mercenaries Reunion (Warrior and Folklore) and extra figures. Pricing is set at 160 MS Points and ¥200.
The first two DLC packs will hit 360 on March 4 and PS3 on March 11. The second two will hit 360 on March 18 and PS3 on March 25.

Maybe I missed it, but have they ever officially stated how non-Gold Edition owners will be able to get the Mercenaries Reunion mode? It's not mentioned as being included with any of the DLC packs (only costumes for it) so I'm assuming it will just be a general patch that everyone who owns the original version will be required to download.

Hmm... good point.
I don't think they've ever said anything about it.
