King of Fighters XIII Announced

SNK Playmore planning full unveil next month.

SNK Playmore formally announced King of Fighters XIII today. The latest arcade rev of the classic 2D fighting series will make use of Taito's Type X2 arcade board.

This is all the info SNK Playmore shared. Further details will come at a public event titled "The King of Fighters XIII Official Preview." This will be held on March 25 from 18:00 to 19:30 at the Bellesalle event space in Akihabara.

SNK Playmore shared only the game's logo today.

Specifics on the event will be announced through the SNK Playmore official site.

That's a hot logo. I guess the green flames mean a return to what passes for a story line for this series.
