CING Files for Bankruptcy
Nintendo-frieindly developer, responsible for Hotel Dusk and Little King's Story, said to be 250 million yen in debt.

According to a March 5 report at financial services website Data Max, independent developments studio CING will be filing for bankruptcy.
The Fukuoka-based developer is responsible for such Nintendo-published DS titles as Last Window and Hotel Dusk. On the Wii, it developed Another Code R and, for Marvelous Entertainment, Little King's Story.
According to the Data Max report, the studio has debt of over 250 million yen. It began preparations for bankruptcy filings on March 1.

Definitely a sad way to start the week off. Trace Memory was a great game, and Hotel Dusk is easily one of my top 5 favorite DS games of all time. I also can't wait to get my hands on Again and The Last Window (if it makes it over here).
Hopefully they manage to get past this, because they need to make more great games.

If it's cash they need, start porting Hotel Dusk to cellphones. It ain't a mystery how to make moneny in the game biz.
