Analyst Says Dead or Alive 3D Has Real Shake
Shake your 3DS to make 'em jiggle.

You might remember how Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 made the best ever use of the Dual Shock's lingering Six Axis technology by allowing you to shake the controller for on-screen jiggle.
Tecmo liked this feature so much, they made an advertisement about it.
They may be able to make a similar ad for the upcoming 3DS version of Dead or Alive, as it looks like the shake mechanics are back.
An investor posted impressions from a Japanese 3DS demo session at his blog yesterday. He shared in-depth opinions on everything from the Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater demo (which didn't impress him that much) to the 3DS's analogue control pad (which did impress him).
Closing off the column, the investor wrote, "In the end, I noticed that no one had shown a demo showcasing the motion sensing technology. When suddenly I heard a conversation from the DOA demo table: 'If you shake the system... yes, they jiggle.'"
I don't know who this investor guy is, but assuming he's not some loon who makes up lengthy impression posts about events that didn't actually take place, it looks like he's stumbled on yet another system selling feature for the 3DS!

I was underwhelmed by the Sigma 2 jiggle. Let's see if Tecmo improved the technology since then.

I can imagine perverts buying the 3DS and Dead or Alive 3D just for the breast jiggle. Having this feature is just a shameful gimmick in Team Ninja's part even though Tomonobu Itagaki is no longer employed at Tecmo.

Yeah, the jiggle in NGS2 was pretty disappointing, just like pretty much any game that uses the SIXAXIS feature (to this day the only game I've played that used it effectively and made it fun is Folklore).
I can't really imagine it being any better in a 3DS game, especially since you'll have to shake the whole system (including the screen) to do it, meaning it'll be harder to even see in the first place.

Haha, I saw this on ero janai. When I first heard about DOA 3DS the first thing that popped into my mind was boobs bursting out the screen. If there's anyone that can advance the current state of boob physics, it's Team Ninja I suppose

Ero Janai?
I'm afraid of looking...

So Team Ninja is making DOA for 3DS?
Guess my intuition that they would find some way to put Samus as an unlockable character in the next DOA game might come true. And I can't wait for a new DOA game (that's not Volleyball) no matter the case.
