Here's what it looks like when you embed user content from Nintendo and Hatena's new sharing service for Ugoku Memo Chou:

Some of the animations are just a bit more complex:

And they can also be just a bit on the trippy side too:

In case you're not sure what you're looking at, here's the full report.

The above animation was found at the Ugomemo Hatena site, which opened today. Currently, the site has 16 pieces of content from Nintendo and Hatena staff. The site is promising daily updates.

To embed content for yourself, access the main page for the animation that you want to embed, and click on the "この作品をブログに貼る" text below the comment field on the right side. You can then embed the Flash-based content like a YouTube video. Although the clips start off in play mode, the sound defaults to "off," so you can embed multiple clips on the same page.

Also available at the site is introduction to using the service. The site will also be hosting a series of videos with the Ugoku Memo Chou producers and technicians starting on the 19th and continuing with one video a day until the 23rd.

The 24th is when the real content should start flooding the site, as Ugoku Memo Chou becomes available to the public. And by real content, I mean real shots of people's penises. Ha ha ha!

Actually, Hatena does seem to be taking some precautions against misuse. I've read that there will be a time lag of 30 minutes between the content showing up on the Ugomemo Website and it being accessible on the DS in the Ugomemo Theater. During that time, people at the Ugomemo Website can flag it as being inappropriate.

Misuse possibilities aside, the ability to embed animations on your site and blog is definitely going to help drive up usage. I just wonder if Hatena made a "disable" button for Square Enix.
